Stuck on the side of the road? You don't have to figure out the tow on your own. Through our partnership with Athena Towing, we can get your vehicle to the shop quickly and safely — and in select cases, reduce or cover the tow when we do the repair.
How it works
Call or text us first. That's the key part. When you reach us before the tow happens, we coordinate it through Athena Towing and have your vehicle brought straight to our shop, ready to diagnose. Start the tow on your own and the coverage option is off the table — it has to be arranged through us in advance.
About the tow coverage
Let's be honest about this so there are no surprises: covering or discounting the tow isn't automatic, and it isn't guaranteed. We handle it case-by-case, and it depends on where you are and what the repair turns out to be. We'll tell you straight whether it applies before anything gets hooked up — no fine-print games.
When you might need this
A no-start, a breakdown, an overheat you shouldn't drive through, an accident, or a diesel that's dropped into derate or limp mode — any of these can leave you stranded around Athens or out in Northeast Georgia. Towing — common questions
Do you cover the cost of the tow?
Sometimes — it's not guaranteed. In select cases we can reduce or cover the tow when we do the repair, but it's case-by-case depending on your location and the job. The one rule: it has to be set up through us before the tow, not after.
What do I do if I'm broken down right now?
Call or text us before you arrange anything. We'll coordinate the tow through Athena Towing and get your vehicle to the shop. If you tow it yourself first, we can't apply any tow coverage.
My diesel went into limp mode. Can you get it towed in?
Yes. A derate or limp-mode truck usually shouldn't be driven far, so call or text us and we'll arrange the tow through Athena Towing, then diagnose why it dropped into derate once it's here.
