Preventive Maintenance

Oil Changes & Fluid Services

The cheapest insurance your engine will ever get. We change your oil right, use the correct spec, and actually look the vehicle over while it's up.

Signs you may need oil changes

You're past your mileage or time interval
Oil-life or change-oil light is on
Oil looks black, gritty, or low on the dipstick
You tow, haul, or drive a diesel
You just bought the vehicle and want a baseline

An oil change is the cheapest, highest-return maintenance you can do — and the easiest to put off until it costs you. Clean oil keeps your engine cool, sealed, and protected; old oil turns to sludge that wears bearings and shortens engine life. We use the correct oil weight and specification for your vehicle, including the right diesel-rated oil for your truck, and we never reuse a filter.

More than a drain and fill

While your vehicle is up on the lift, we actually look at it — belts, hoses, fluids, tires, brakes, and any leaks or wear starting to show. That five-minute look is how small problems get caught before they strand you. If we see something, we tell you; if we don't, you drive off knowing you're good.

The right interval for how you drive

Severe-duty driving — short trips, towing, heat, dust, and diesel work — shortens the safe interval. We'll tell you a realistic mileage for your truck and how you use it, not a one-size-fits-all sticker number.

Oil Changes — common questions

How often should I change my oil?

It depends on your vehicle and oil type. Many modern engines on full synthetic go 5,000–7,500 miles, but towing, short trips, heat, and diesel use shorten that. We'll give you a straight number for your specific vehicle and driving.

Do you do diesel oil changes?

Yes. Diesels take more oil and a specific diesel-rated oil and filter — using the wrong spec is a real mistake. We stock and use the correct products for Duramax, Cummins, and Power Stroke trucks.

Is synthetic oil worth it?

For most modern and hard-working engines, yes — it handles heat better and protects longer, which matters a lot for diesels and tow rigs. We'll tell you what your engine actually calls for.
